Ribera´s Market

The traditional market of Bilbao was built by the architect Pedro Ispizua. The market has 1o ooo square meters, this is the biggest market in Europe with a roof.

Arriaga Theatre

This is the building of the end of the 19th century. This building was done

by the architect Joaquin De Rucoba. Arriaga is next the river of Bilbao ¨La ria de Bilbao¨

San Nicolas Church

It is a Catholic church inagurated in 1756. This church is in the old part of Bilbao, in the square of San Nicolas, and in front of it we can find the Arriaga Theatre.

Iberdrola Tower

The Iberdrola Tower is a skycraper of 165 meters height. The tower´s architect was

Cesar Pelli.

The tower has 41 floors and 50 000 square meters. The Iberdrola Tower is the highest in the town and in the Basqe Country.

Santiago Cathedral

Santiago Cathedral is the highest and the most inportant in the old part of Bilbao. The Cathedral was built in 14th century in Gothic style. The Cathedral has its name because of Bilbao´s patron saint,¨Apostol Santiago el Mayor¨. Santiago Cathedral has this name because of the Santiago road. This monument is the most monumental gothic church in Biscay.
